On Wednesday, 10 September, I attended the Chamber of Commerce Mayoral debate.
All candidates had some good ideas, certainly worth exploring with our communities.
I didn't hear much talk of what communities want. Candidates talked about their thoughts.
Karl talked about his interactions with the businesses on The Golden Mile.
Dianne talked about understanding the inner workings of the council.
Ray talked about cutting unnecessary expenditure.
Alex talked about housing affordability and his key policy of land-based rates.
Andrew Little talked about wanting to engage more with the central government.
