The Orange Voting Bins are here!
There are many different ways for you to drop off your voting papers. They can be:
Returned at orange voting bins across Wellington,
Dropped in a post box, or
Delivered in person to one of the WCC voting hubs.
Voting papers for the 2025 local body election are delivered between 9 and 22 September 2025. Not everyone in the same household, street or community will receive their voting papers on the same day.
It’s better to vote early so you don’t forget or run out of time!
