Takapu Valley - You Beauty!

This week, I spent the day in Takapu Valley meeting some of the wonderful residents.

Takapu Valley has amazing natural beauty, a quiet lifestyle and is in close proximity to the city.

The native bird life was abundant, including a Kererū who decided to poop on my car (a good sign?)

Key themes today:

*Rates affordability

*Lack of accessibility to the city

*An unfriendly attitude by the council towards businesses

*A call for a renewed focus on infrastructure, especially water
